The city of Baltimore, MD has been a partner with the Milton S. Eisenhower Foundation since 1995.  The Youth Safe Haven program is currently located in the Barclay neighborhood, where it serves as part of a major housing rehabilitation project by the Telesis Corp., a frequent partner of the Foundation. This is an area that never fully recovered from the destruction of the protests following the assassinations of MLK and RFK. 

The program is focusing on providing a brighter future for at risk youth by encouraging positive youth development  and partnering with the Baltimore Police Department. With Problem Oriented Community Policing as a major component of the program, designed to bring about positive change using proactive measures by police and civilians, the Youth Safe Haven-Police Ministation becomes the place for our youth to go to fail safe, while getting the help to improve their grades.
